General Practitioner | MBBS, MRCEM (UK)

Dr Anthea Lee

Dr Lee underwent medical training in Singapore and practiced there for 8 years, obtaining her post graduate membership qualification with the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (UK) before relocating to New Zealand in 2023. She is versed in acute care and has a budding interest in transgender health. She strongly believes in equal medical care for patients who are gender diverse and is undergoing training to provide quality care for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Outside the practice, you can find her chasing powder on her snowboard during winter days, or fine-tuning her bread making skills in the kitchen. You might even catch her in Palmerston North Hospital's emergency department doing a shift to keep her emergency medicine skills up to scratch.
